I'd say the only real difference between CommentLuv and Disqus is the added incentive of the link to one of your posts that CommetLuv offers. Personally, I believe that's a pretty significant difference, though. It makes it much more likely that other blog readers will visit the blogs of people who leave comments. Which in turn makes it that much more likely that people will leave comments on your blog. If you comment on blogs related to your own then you should gain more readers.

Also, I like the feature where you can add a picture to your comment. I'm not sure if you can also do that on Disqus.
